I was in the 3225th Drone Squadron at Holloman AFB in the late 1950's. We flew what was listed as the last B17 mission for the Air Force.
Eglin AFB 3205th group (our headquarters group) claims they flew last mission.
Many modelers have done extensive research on the B17. Can anyone answer this question and quote the reference?
