P-47 Aux Tank Fuel / Pressure lines?
Posted by GAF on Friday, August 10, 2012 4:16 PM

I'm looking for information on the fuel and pressurization lines that went to the main auxiliary tank on the P-47 Thunderbolt (D model).  I've looked around in my own books and checked on the internet.  Seems to be little on how these lines ran or how they attached to the tanks.

Information, especially pictures, would be appreciated.  If anyone can come up with the goods, it's you guys!

Thanks,

Gary

I found a few decent pics, but I can not tell you which are the air pressure lines and hook ups and which are for the fuel lines...

Okay, thanks Stik!

Excellant pictures.

But it looks like I may have to take a trip to one of the museums that house a P-47.  Luckily there are two within driving distance.
