Hello, I am hopeing some one out there has built or has some knowledge of the color call out for Hobby Boss Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a/U4 in 1/48th. the kit has the color call out for the exterior but none for the interior?. Is this normal for Hobby Boss as there kits have a good name in the hobby, Thanks in advance and happy modeling.

So put any and all kit color instructions aside. For some reason, the one proven crappy part of the plastic model industry that in most cases was not well researched.

Look at other forums and do a search for "Me 262 interior color". Search both image and web.

You'll be amazed.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Thank you Mr Morrison, There are lots of builds on the tube to be sure, This is my first German aircraft build so I have no experince with there cockpit wheel bays etc colors, I will keep searching the web as you have stated half the fun of this hobby is learning about the subject you build and the amount of knowledge to be found. sorry ramblin, Thanks agian.

As far as wheels wells and everything else, officially it should be RLM 02. But late war especially there were exceptiong, including NMF. This being a one off, it would be hard to track down the exact colour, so in lieu of that, i would go with the offical ones.

As Bish posted, RLM66 for the pit and RLM02 for the rest like gear, engine and gun compartments.
