Frank’s photo editing made this look like a wartime print (except in color). “It’s a Revell 1/48 scale B-17F converted to a late F version using the Monogram B-17G,” he says. “I built this model many years ago, before photoetched-metal and resin detail sets were available, so everything was converted or scratchbuilt.”
