“My former boss commanded the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade
in Afghanistan, has multiple tours with the 82nd Airborne, and just got
promoted to brigadier general,” Wade says. So he built and painted a Maurice
Corry Miniatures 120mm figure as a promotion present, depicting a D-Day
paratrooper and mounting it on an 82nd divisional patch. The figure is painted
with Vallejo acrylics.
