Edward Ritchey

Centreville, Maryland

Edward added about 50 scratchbuilt parts to his Academy 1/48 scale P-26 Peashooter’s Vector resin R-1340 engine. He also included a custom-made propeller hub, extra cockpit knobs and switches, cutout/offset rudder and elevators, and a scratchbuilt windscreen. Decals from Yellow Wings and Aeromaster identify the aircraft as one based at Bolling Field, Washington, DC, in 1937.
