Hello! My life as a plastic addict started in summer 1986 with an Italeri F-4G Phantom II –in my opinion, the coolest aircraft ever–. I then grew up with a lot of braille scale Matchbox kits, and tended to expand slowly to your average Tamigawa, Esci, Academy, etc. kits until i slow down the building pace and made a long pause in the mid-nineties, due to radical changes in my life, that made me leave my homeland for Japan.
François Verlinden was my god back on these days. I made my come back into the hobby a few years ago and noticed how much it changed and that some spaniards took the place of my favorite belgian guy, so i started my updating and keep experimenting since then.
My historical center of gravity is the Arab-israeli wars, but i am mostly interested in unusual subjects, meaning don't expect me to built a Tiger I tank or a F-18 Super Hornet –my only concession to the trend being the F-4 Phantom, which i built quite a few–
Now about scale, i love them all and take from each of them what they can teach me. I tend to believe that the best balanced choices are 1/72 for aircrafts and 1/48 for armor –unfortunately, modern subjects are almost non-existent in quarter-scale despite my mail harassment to Mr. Tamiya– but then again "variety is the spice of life", and scale open-mindness offers so many projects possibilities that they won't fit in my lifetime anyway.
