50+ white guy, working as a simulator instructor in Columbus on the Embraer Phenom. I own a Christen Eagle aerobatic biplane and along with wife Peggy, I restore antique and homebuilt airplanes(on the bench, 1946 Fairchild F24R). Volunteer at EAA's Pioneer Airport, flying Young Eagles in our Glastars, and the 1929 TravelAir E4000 and 1927 Swallow, and also a tour captain for the Ford Tri-Motor program. Semi-professional musician, playing Bluegrass music, working part-time with Jesse McReynolds and The Virginia Boys!
I model aircraft (duh!) with heavy emphasis on WWll Japanese, especially the Zero fighter. Into scratchbuilding, dioramas and wood sailing ships.
