A little about myself.
My name is Tom and I have recently returned to this hobby after 20 plus years.I live in Central New York (Utica, NY to be exact) and am married and have a son. I work in the public sector of the county as a Media Specialist in the Education Sector. Basically, I provide client/customer support for the schools in the county.
My hobby history:
In my younger days, I built car kits; mostly hot rods and muscle cars, as well as aircraft (both modern and WW2). I have also done a few ship kits (USS Missouri, New Jersey, Independence, Enterprise, Intrepid, Constitution and Cutty Stark) and a couple of armor kits with Monogram's Patton tank being my first and later on, Tamiya's M1 Abram (spelling?).
My most recent kits done since my return have been 1/72 F-4U Corsair *given to a co-worker), Revell 1/48 scale P-47 Thunderbolt (given to my bro-in-law as a B-day gift) and Tamiya Tuskegee Red Tails P-51 Mustang (I kept for myself). After having done 3 consecutive kits, the passion and desire to do better has ignited me.
Today, I currently have accumulated quite a few kits as well as a couple strays I have found untouched from my past just waiting to be built.
