Hello Everyone,
Where to start? I have been modeling since I was 10. After high school i spent a few years in the service as a UH-1H Helicopter mechanic. Loved it! I fell in love with my wife at this time in my life and eventually we married, And have been for 22 years. I worked in the construction bussiness for a while as a pipe layer and then a heavy equiptment operator. After a stroke of bad luck I broke my ankle and had some very unfortunate legal issues with the company and when I was finally released to go back to work I was treated unfairly and I quit. I sarted to work for Coke and ended up working for Pepsi where as luck would have it I was permentally disabled after a skid of 2-liter bottles started to fall toward me and I tried to stop it and wound up having 2 back surgeries and with a metal cage at the very end of my spine. As a result I am in costant pain and rely on some very heavy medication to function every day. My wife is very supportive and I know I would have given up by now if it wasnt for her and my daughters love and understanding. Not easy having to sit at home and watch my wife work to keep us going. I finally decided back in 2003 to get back into modeling. Since then it has become a big part of who and what I am. I love building models, as well as drawing and painting, it keeps me busy and has become very good therapy. If not for this I would have gone insane by now. It gives me somthing to concentrate on and keeps my hands busy. I want to thank finescale for helping me with this. I look forward to this magazine every month. My biggest passion is Star Trek models, but I also love WW2 aircraft and modern aircraft as well. I am branching out into Cars and ships but only time will tell if I am as good at those as I am with the previous ones. I have built and sold Star trek models for people all over the world. The most recent was from England. I have sold to an FX company in Australia as well a Sci- fi author from Maryland. I love doing it and will continue as long as I can. Thanks Terry
