I was born in Florida at Patrick AFB in Cape Canaveral where my dad was first stationed in the AF. the first 10 years of my life we moved around, living in Texas at Reese AFB and finally Beal AFB where my dad's last assignment was. I started modeling when I was about 8 years old living on Beal AFB. It was awesome for a youngster to see all those U2s, KC135 and T-38's flying around. When my dad got out of the AF they settled in Northern AZ where I lived until college. I took a long break from modeling, about 10 years but I amback in the saddle now since mid 2011 and love the hobby.
My main interest are WWII aircraft at this moment and I love learning all the techniques that this forum offers. I have two small children so building is slow for me right now, mostly evenings and mostly weekends. My favorite plane is the Spitfire Mk 2 but love all variants of that aircraft. I plan to build them all and I currently have about 15 in my stash 3 on the bench and probably 4-5 built.
