Began modeling in the 1960s. Increased my skills (so I thought) in the mid 1970s building the early Tamiya kits and painting them using a Badger single action with Tamiya paints. Left the hobby for more than twenty years until moving on assignment to Asia beginning in the late 1990s. Frequented hobby shops in Taiwan and Japan. Formed a fine scale model club in Taiwan and collectively shared experiences, projects and skills (learned tons). The hobby soon became a passion which has carried on to the present day. My interests are armor and planes. An accurate historical rendering of my models, including their painting and weathering, is key to my enjoyment.
