I'm 33 & I live in Rugby (the home of Rugby football) in England. I left school and trained as an electrician as I wanted to join the REME (Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers) but my bad knees now mean that I either sit behind my desk at work or the workbench at home building the Armour that I so wanted to be working on for real. I've had a very keen interest in all of the major conflicts of the 20th Century, particulary WWI, WWII & 'Nam - I'd describe myself as a hobby historian and armour was always the thing that interested me most of all so I started modelling armour in May 2009 and had to basically learn and teach myself.
I mainly build German armour, I prefer the early Panzer I/II stuff but I've also acquired a taste for the larger German SPG's and inparticular, the Tiger I.
I do hope to start building a few Allied (Brit/American) WWII pieces but my interest really lies in the German Armour - the variety is perfect for a modeller.
I do hope to venture into figures to add to my builds and bases too. I'd like to move into a few more 'modern' builds - particularly from the Vietnam conflict.
