I was born at Orlando AFB because my late father was in the Air Force. We did move a lot until we gotten to Scott AFB IL. That is where I gotten started doing models. My late father and I did AMT's USS Enterprise together with the lights plus Revell's 1/72 Jolly Green Giant Heilcopter. We move to RAF Alconbury UK and I did a Revell Fokker Triplane by myself in 1/72. It was really done bad but you have to remember I was a 6 yr old kid at the time. I did more and more models by Frog and Airfix and a few Linberg.
We moved again to Little Rock AFB AR and my first big kit was Monogram's B-52D. My Dad did help and it was done right but the paint we had was not FS colors but it look right for us. in 1975 Monogram came out with there Boeing B-17G in 1/48th. I did a poor job on it and lied to my Dad parts were missing. So Dad told the owner what happen and I gotten another B-17G. From that day until now I have done over two dozen B-17's plus other kits over the years. I am a married man at the age of 49 I still build models and I love doing them. I have won many awards and my wife know it makes me happy plus my daughter.
