I started building models back in the late 60's until the late 70's when school and work then family life. Fast forward to 2006 my kids are grown and Revell releases th Dodge Magnum SRT8 just like the one we had just bought. Well as a kid I always wanted to build a model of the real car that my parents had but they did not have models of 4 doors or station wagons that we had so when I saw the Magnum I had to get it and buid it. After building it there were some other kits that looked interesting and the next thing I know I was back building against and learning all kind of new techniques and finding lots of new products to improve my builds. With the kids grown one of the spare bed rooms became my model office and a old roll up desk that never got used became my work bench. I Manly build MOPAR car and trucks that are factory stock just off the show room floor. I have been able to pick up many of the old models that I had built as a kid. I only have one of my models from when I was a kid JoHan 70 road runner.
