Old retired guy getting back into the hobby. I built many post- WWII jets as a kid in the '50s, but I didn't build any models as an adult until I needed something quiet and non strenuous after a life threatening heart attack. I built a Heinkel 111 that is still on a shelf in my unfinished man-cave. A few years ago I did some serious damage to a leg and was laid up for a while. I built TWO inexpensive models during that recovery, a Spitfire and a FW-190. I have since acquired several models to build and have set up a comfortable work space . I am at present (Dec, 2014) getting some airbrush equipment sorted out and learning to airbrush (I hope). I'm working on an old Revell P-40B kit that was sorely lacking in detail, but it is starting to look a Little more realistic now, and a Bf 109E is my next subject.
