I live in Petawawa, Ontario, but, as I am a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, I am currently posted to Ottawa, Ontario. I travel back and fourth, but, have all my models and supplies with me in Ottawa.
Built my first model, an MPC 1/72 Thunderbolt (I actually remember it - hand painted with Testors enamels when I was 11). Got serious about building in College in the early 90s and have been improving ever since. I dabble in multiple subjects, but, my passion remains Aircraft. I used to have a big 1/35 armour collection, but, had to give it up due to space. My passion now lies in small scale for the most part. More planes per square foot...lol.
I do not collect unopened kits, rather, I pretty much buy and build so I do not have much of a stash; usually about 5-6 kits under the bench.
1/72 Aircraft - All Eras prop and jet age - 60ish and growing
1/32 Wingnut Wings - 4 in my collection and counting (greatest model manufacturer IMHO even though they take up TOOO much room, lol)
1/32 Battlestar Galactica ships collection - Classic and Re-Imagined series
1/1000 Star Trek ships of the line
1/700 Ships - 4 Trumpeter ships and will continue to add future examples soon.
