A modeler since the 50s. I was taught by Auto Pioneer, Horace Dodge, who loved sitting down at Detroit City Airport talking to pilots and building mostly Aurora airplanes. I made a lot of models in all scales until I went to Viet Nam working with a 1st Special Forces Group A team. Although wounded I was the only survivor. It took a long time to start modeling again. I have quite a collection of 1/32nd aircraft I haven't started building, some quite rare from my teens. I've met Rickenbacker and Erich Hartmann. My interest is at this moment is WW1, thanks to Hobby Craft, Battle Axe, Roden, and Wingnut Wings. I am retired now so I am ready.
