I was born on a night of high wind and wild portent in Saint Louis during October of '56.  However, I was too young to realize the significance of my birth.  My formative years were spent in the Missouri Ozarks.  The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas is my alma mater.  Currently I reside in San Diego, California, a good Navy town, since 2005.  In as much as the Missouri Ozarks has spectacular scenic recreational opportunities, this "potted plant" wearied of the cold winter months.  The balmy environs of San Diego suit my ol' bones to a "T."
