Lets see....
I entered the service out of high school joining the USMCR as an aviation weapons specialist. At the same time, I attended college. I left the Corps in 2002 after having two re-constructive surgeries on my right knee after a bad jump from a helo. I finished college, recovered from surgery, and in 2004 I entered the police academy. At this time, I also joined the iowa Army Guard as an MP. After 6months, I switched back to aviation. I became a Sheriff's Deputy in 2005, and then a Detective in 2006. I was forced to leave both the Army and the force in 2008 when I re-injured my knee. I now have artificial parts in my knee [all by the age of 27. not bad eh?].
For modeling, I began early building my first one with my step dad at age 5. I lost the hobby for a few years and re-joined it in 1994. I've been modeling strong ever since. I joined my first model club in 2000 and after moving to Iowa, I joined both IPMS clubs in town. I've served as officers for both, and the webmaster for my home club after creating the website for them. I've won several awards at local, Regional, and now even national level. I've also had pictures in Finescale, and soon an article in the IPMS Journal. I volunteer at two military museums in the area. My primary role being that of a historian and restoration specialist [aircraft and firearms]. In addition to scale modeling, I have also done CGI modeling and was lucky enough to work on two Star Trek games for Activision [Bridge Commander] and Excalibur [still in development]. I was also able to do some work on Star Trek: Nemesis. I'm an avid history buff and amateur historian and I collect antique militaria and firearms. I think thats about it.
