I am 52 years old and i have not built a model in 5-6 years. Now starting again in 1/48 scale planes. i have always built 1/72 scale mainly because of the size. I estimate about 1000 builds of all types. My dad was in the navy for 25 years, built alot of ships too. I am an air force veteran, worked avionics on F4, KC135, B52 and C130 aircraft. I also worked on Air Force One in 1977. Lived in japan 3 years and had some friends their that had alot of data on ww2 japanese stuff. As a teen i built cars only for about 5 years or so. The only thing i have not built is armor. Currently i am a GM technician at a local Pittsburgh dealership. Kids are grown and i am looking forward to building stuff i was never into before.
