Having a problem?

I don't know why it was doing that, but i had the same problem.  Seems to happen for a couple of days every once in a while.  Hopefully, they have it fixed now.

Daywalker, camo junkie - Thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one wih this problem. It's been going on for a little while now. I have gotten some that came in 4's also. As a computer DUMMY (the book computers for dummies is too advanced for me), something like this really throws a scare into you. Oh no, what's wrong with this ? Thanks again guys. Hope the problem gets solved soon.

Hi guys, I don't know what's going on, but the problem reared its ugly head again today. It was OK for the last week or so but I started getting the notifications in duplicate starting this afternoon. What's going on

Hi guys.

    The problem went away since my last post on the 30th but "IT'S BACK". Started getting the notifications in twos and threes again. This is getting to be a tad irritating. Hope this problem goes away totally real soon.

last weekend i got replies  in triplicate   a total of 90 

today i got sixtuplets 

i noticed a pattern over the yrs  on here  it MOSTLY happens on weekends

it seems to me (just a possiblity) because of the compexity of fsm's systems that maybe it is another program(s) either that runs or not runs on weekends that somehow interferes with the forum

only a theory but  i have been into computing since the mid 70's  and have seen program to program interference

    DURR - I started getting replies in triplicate again today also. I think maybe you are on to something. When it started this afternoon, I was thinking that it happened on weekends in the past. It gets to be a pain in the butt. I hope they figure out exactly what the problem is and find a cure. Maybe your idea will help them figure out what it is.

    On 9-24-09 Aaron said he would look into it. Haven't heard a word back yet so I guess they are still looking into it. Maybe your idea will help them. Thanks a lot DURR.

I was out of town over the weekend.  When I got back late Sunday night (October 25), my in box was practically overflowing with FSM Forum posts.  Some of them appeared as many as six times.  But the problem apparently got fixed; the system seems to be working fine now.  

I don't pretend to even an elementary knowledge of how such things work, but it looks to me like the problem - which I've had several times before - may be located somewhere in cyberspace between FSM and my computer.  I have the impression that, with no rhyme or reason, some people experience it and others don't.  As long as the delete button on my computer works, I can live with the inconvenience.

Well, it's the weekend and here comes the replies in duplicate and triplicate again. It really does look like something is running on the weekend that is messing with our computers.

I hope they solve the problem before the weekend of madness group build, or my in-box is going to go crazy!

Dioramator, can't you change the finnish date to the next monday? That way you might not get hit with this problem. It seems to clear up on monday mornings.

 Due to other things going on that weekend, I'll actually be starting the build Friday, and finishing Sunday, unfortunatly that puts me in the peak duplicating season.

It's happening again... and it's only Thursday

they are coming through in quadruplicate.

Made it through the last weekend without the replication of replies. Could it be fixed?????????????????

Whoops!  Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I shouldn't have said it too loud.

    I have a feeling that this is one of those things that we will never know. Let's just sit back and enjoy it. Aahhhhhhhhhh the lack of aggravation. Can't you just feel it?
