Wow. I'm even older than Vance. '71 model here. To many aches and pain to count. The joy of working in EMS.

 No wonder!

Too much flash.

Will the molds be cleaned up for the re-pop?

Well, some stray cartilidge in my knee has already been cleaned up, ACL is potentially getting work done depending on how things go this summer... No firm date on a re-release yet!

stray cartillage clean up on a softball player?

Why, the pros wouldn't settle for anything less than double knee replacement !

No re-release yet?

Gotta get a different set of decals with every re-pop..........won't have collector status without fresh decals ( slide transfers in AIRFIX speak ).

will the re-pop come with the original hairy elbows ??

Whistling

yes

Well the bottom line is... a full-on ACL replacement would take a year to recover from, the knee would still never be 100%, and I'd still have to wear the brace to be sure of non-injury. Leaving it as-is, continuing with at-home physio, bike & ball while wearing the brace... may accomplish darn-near the same thing without having to run the risk of a surgery.

(That being said, the Dr. I'm lined up with is an ACL pro, highly regarded on this end of the country. I'm supposed to follow up with her after the ball season wraps up.)

Does your doctor ever  suggest that you wash dishes before you play ball or ride your bike?

But too much dishwashing makes you less likely to hit the longball - it's a delicate balance.

The knee - as I told my Dr - is a "Superbowl injury" lol. A bunch of us were playing a little touch-football at halftime, I planted the foot to change direction... the foot stayed put & the rest of me changed direction. Bang Head

At an early company meeting one morning i complained about not getting enough sleep the night before . One of the people at the meeting replied smuggly at my comment  that he "always sleeps like a baby " . I asked him "so who changes your diapper in the morning ?"

Speaking of hearing, I can't take too much loud music
I mean I like to play it, but I sure don't like the racket...
