New group suggestions under General Discussion

Your Stash - pretty much self explanatory. To show your stash and what you may have just received.

Your Workbench

These are scattered about in the other threads. Seems like it would be nice to have them all together.

We do occasionally get a show your stash thread, or show your workbench, though there hasn't been one for a while. But i am not sure theres enough to have its own group. I have seen these on other sites and they don't seem to get much interest.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

they do for a while and then sort of die out. For me, it is the idea of having them in one spot. They could even be combined. Just a thought.

You know, I've been restructuring my fort for a while now, and I've come in here looking around for ideas. I've found some good ones, but they are kind of scattered around.

Maybe have a place in the discussion forums specifically for anything dealing with your work space, stash & tool storage.

It'd probably fit right in somewhere in the Suggestions/Feedback area.

Home > Discussion Forums > Ground Zero (Stash & Storage)

Just a thought. Might keep those threads in a single place.

not a bad Idea,

Also it would be good for me I could go directly to one place for my  Stash/Bench envy

I don't know how much it would be for the computer people, but here's a thought...

Maybe add something to the user profile. There's your avatar, your signature, etc, etc.

Why not have 'Your Workbench', so you have the option of posting a photo.

Same thing for 'My Stash', where you can list them, or post a photo, which ever.

It could also have a 'Private' option, liked with your personal info.

I don't know how hard that'd be to do, but at least everyone would know where to find them.

I like these ideas. Perhaps even a sticky thread that everyone can post in with these two topics as headers would be nice.

Oops, sorry, I forgot to mention that it should part of user's profile, not some they drag around all over the place.

The "show your workspace" thread is almost always current. I would recommend that there be a topic in the General discussion hierarchy just for that.  Rather than one or two threads, that come and go, each person's pix of workshop (and any comments) would be a new thread.

So, how 'bout it Tim and Aaron? Don has a great suggestion. If you won't have the pop-ups whacked, how about this?

Hi guys,

As Don points out, these threads come and go. It really doesn't warrant a separate category such as Airplanes or Armor. There just isn't enough traffic for it. It would be better to set up a thread in the Ready Room and point people toward it.

Tim
