5 day problem. Long story short : finescales' server is blocking my ip address. Verizon verified trace. Posted from my phone. I have no REASON to believe it is deliberate. Can someone send an email to my gmail acct to help ?

Guys,

We had a change in the website that will neccessitate logging back in. If you are a subscriber, you'll need to reenter your access code as well. After that everything should be working as per usual. I'm looking into the mobile access issue.

Cheers, Aaron

Stik and Templar,

Try accessing the system from your phones now. I'm told the problem should be fixed.

Bish, It's the subscriber access code. It should be part of your mailing label or something along those lines.

Still no luck for me trying to log into the site with my phone. My Laptop and Desktop are fine. But whatever revamp was done yesterday killed my mobile access.

Stik, I have the exact opposite problem in that I am posting from my phone and no laptop connection. It's  been about a week for me. Indications point to FS but just a small fish in a big pond, subscription not-withstanding. I can't ( or won't ) keep posting on phone but will give a day or two for some kind of reach out.

Stik,

What does the screen show when you try to log-in from your phone? The issue appears to be relatively isolated, so the online team is having trouble running down the cause. Most everything that was done yesterday is the same as it was before that, it is the authentification system that has changed. That was what prompted the need for everyone — including me — to have to log back in.

Bish,

Obviously it's not supposed to work that way. I check your account and there's nothing I see that has changed. Let me see what we can do.

the login links at the top and bottom of any page are dead. I tap on them and nothing happens. I am using an iphone and their browser on both wifi nets and non wifi internet. Same results, no response when I tap either icon.

Seems to be an odd problem. I can log in on both mobile and desktop however like Bish it will not keep me logged in to either once the browser session is closed.

I also had trouble and got a message that my password needed to be reset. I called customer service and was told a change the magazine made requires I reestablish my link and set a new password that's now different from the old one because it needs both letters and a numeral. I understand things like this happen but when I asked the customer rep if any announcement that this was coming was made he said no. That's horrible customer service. Changes should be announced before going live My connection now works again and all's well but I wonder if you've learned any lessons. I hope so.

Jeff,

Sorry for the inconvenience. I was not made aware of the password changes made necessary by the changeover or I would have made everyone aware. I'm going to post a general announcement now and hopefully that will address some of the problems users have encountered. Thanks for the heads up.

Cheers, Aaron

I've been locked out for the past two days. Every time I click 'Login' or 'Register' I get a message saying "The content failed to load". I couldn't even use my phone because it doesn't connect to the internet. I'm posting this from my local library.
