Does FSM have any Clout with Manufactuers

I mean how do companies know what models are popular & what are not?  They must get feedback from somewhere.

I have long wanted a model of Airwolf, and seeing as how hard it is to get hold of the AMT/Aoshima kit, it has been a futile effort.

I would love to see someone like Revell produce it in 1/32nd scale.  As i feel they are the best helicopter producers in this scale.  You would not believe how many Model Forums & Airwolf forums i have visited that people want models of Airwolf.  People with more money than sense are even buying really expensive R/C Airwolf helicopters just for a static model.  The real helicopter has just been restored and displayed in a museum too.  So its not as if there are no reference material. http://perso.orange.fr/flc-othello/airwolf.htm

How can we as the people who build & want these models, convince some kit manufacturer to Produce a new Bell 222 kit with optional Airwolf parts.  The AMT was sadly very inaccurate.

I contacted Revell myself last year about this, and this is their reply "

Your product proposals and comments are collected and then checked for their
marketability. Due to the large number of comments and letters we receive, it is
not possible to include all the products proposed. The selection of new models
is based on a variety of criteria, including of course market analyses. We do
our best to offer a comprehensive range covering various themes.

Nevertheless we thank you very much for your suggestions and we will include
them into our proposal list for the coming years."

Interesting...I wish we did have some sway with them; I'd like to organize a campaign against Italeri to make them stop giving armor modelers the HORRIBLE two-piece rubber band tracks!
