Another problem ...
I want to post to a GB I've joined and can find nothing re a NEW POST ... I'm told to look for the 'faint green button' that says 'New Post' in the upper left corner of the page, but for the life of me, I can't see any such button anywhere on the page ...
Suggestions ? ...

The "Write a new post" option is for creating a new thread/topic in a given forum. If you are posting to an existing topic, use the "reply" button at the top right, or "quick reply" at the bottom right of any existing post in the thread to which you wish to post.
I understand that but where do I find the link to'write a new post' ? ...

You'll see the "Write a new post" option when you go back to the subforum menu (where you see all the topic headings in that forum).
I think we got a mixup of Terminology here.
"Write a new Post " is to start a new Thread.
To add a comment, etc to a thread(like a Gb) you need to use "Reply" or "Quick Reply".
