No task bar when using rich formatting
Posted by rooster513 on Saturday, September 6, 2014 12:24 PM
I've read up on using rich formatting to upload pics and all but when I use it to reply I don't get a task bar. Seeing a lot of post that talk about a task bar that allows picture uploading and icons and the like but I'm not seeing it...any ideas? Thanks. -Andy

What was the resolution?  It may be useful to other forum members who have the same question.

Good call Baron. I had to go into the Tools menu of Internet Explorer - Select Compatibility View settings and add finescale.com to the list of websites with Compatibility View. Thanks again to Tim Kidwell for the help!

I don't think that stickies stick, is it possible for something to be put in the help section about IE11 & compatibility view?

It seems to be a frequent issue.

Had this happen when I used IE.  Switched to google chrome and the problem went away.

Ah, yes, cool, thanks!

That's a good general tip to remember, if you use Internet Explorer as your browser of choice.  As new releases of the browser come out, they may be more advanced in their code, for lack of a better term, than the websites you visit.  Using CV allows the browser to display content on existing/older pages, with little or no issue  I speak from experience.  I work for an IT company and one of our main applications is written specifically for use with IE, and we're always a little behind Microsoft's development.  We tell our customers using that app to have CV on by default for our web app.
