Dave if ya check your emails from when the forums 1st changed over, you'll see a few from me on what was wrong with Safari besides image tags.... quoting was also an issue... all kinds of html tags

 That by itself is almost all worth it. Good job. I wondered if that problem would be fixed. We're getting there!

One other thing I wanted to mention is that you should no longer see pages where the width of the page gets pushed out because someone posted a really long link or a very long unbroken line of text.

I know, I know... believe me, I'm not 100% happy with these forums either, but the old forums were no longer an option for a number of reasons.  The primary reason was the requirement of using forums built in asp.net.  That really narrowed down the number of choices we had.

seemed a bit "choppy/jerky" took forever to load a page

sigh, unfortunately there is no one perfect browser.  That's why I keep several in my arsenal as some sites work well with one browser but not the other.  Firefox used to have lot's of problems with most of the sites I go to, but not so much anymore.  Now it's IE7's turn to be hosed.
