I just posted an update to fix a couple of items on the forum.

  • The smiley window is now be scrollable & resizable.
  • The images window is now wider but just in case it is also scrollable & resizable.
  • The font size in the posting editor was increased a tiny bit.
  • The strikethrough is working (has for awhile).
  • I added in a compression script that should make the posting page load much quicker.
  • When posting a url using brackets, it will work with or without quotes around the url.  With quotes was not working after the new posting editor was added.

Let me know if your smilies are all there now. Wink [;)]

EDIT: I uploaded a cheat sheet with all the different smilies with their corresponding bracket code.

If you're using IE7, just go to the bottom right corner of the smiley popup and change it to 75% on the zoom.  You'll have to do that each time you want to access the lower buttons, but that's a work around until David can get to fixing that.  Smile [:)]

I can't resize the window either. That's why I shrink the smileys.  You might have to squint a little tomake thm outbut they are all there.Do not feed the trolls [troll]

I have the same problem as not being able to see them all but I click in the bottom right corner on the 100% and select 75% and them I can see them all. Although at the moment my whole toolbar is missing!!!!

I'm using IE 7 and am having no problems. Do not feed the trolls [troll]Yuck [yuck]Grumpy [|(] All work. I have no 'up / down' cursoe, just have to 'click' beside all the icons and move it down using the cursor. It works now, so I'm not complaining.

I miss the the last three rows when the window opens, but the cursor "up" and "down" buttons scrolls through them all. My guess is the new software the forum uses is either not up to standards, or the browsers we use aren't. I'm posting this with Firefox 2.0.

So long folks!

Sign - Ditto [#ditto]  plus "t".

My "troll" won't show up and just barely the tops of the bottom row above the troll.

Missing smileys
Posted by Gun Tech on Monday, December 11, 2006 9:48 PM

When I joined the forums a few months ago, we had a lot of smileys to choose from. Following the upgrade, they were missing for a while. Now, there back!   But it seems like a few of us don't have acces to all of them. Personnaly, I can see 49, but can use 56 (can't see the row with grumpy, but still can use it).......     Like I said, some of us can and the others can't.....      I was just wondering why....   browser problems maybe?

Cheers!

Edit:   If other buddies have the same problem , please make a post here Wink [;)]
