Thanks, Aaron, I knew you would, but thanks for making it clear!

Best regards,

The FSM staff are a bunch of good guys and put out a nice product.  I don't think we need to be excessively concerned over such a minor issue.  Thank you, Aaron, for your responses.

I had an issue with the site a few days ago and sent an email to Kalmbach via the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the web page.  The issue was that I could not access the subscriber content for some reason.  They responded and resolved it the next day.  I was pretty impressed.

Aaron,

Thanks much, I really do appreciate the personal response. But it doesn't answer my question.

Stoutfella,

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question any better. The site advertising is out of the control of the editorial staff.

Cheer, Aaron

Hi, Aaron, thanks for the response.  I appreciate your position as editor and understand that you have authority over content.  But I also take it that our complaints are getting forwarded then to Kalmbach, for their review?  Or is there somewhere we can go to let them know our complaint?  I do not believe that there is no way for the website to idenitify us when we access it, and suppress the popup, for those subscribers like me who are paid up for the next three years.  My login panel shows text to indicate that I'm paid through March 2015, so those data are being accessed at some point behind the scenes.

It's not a major problem, of course, just an annoyance, but as someone who works in IT support and testing for a living, and who administers a website, too, I can say that it's a user-unfriendly feature.

Again, I know it's not your area, but thanks for listening to our complaint about it.

Best regards,
Brad

Brad,

We take all user complaints and concerns seriously. I'm not sure about the mechanics of the software but I will pass on your comments.

Cheers, Aaron

OK, I've renewed my subscription. My credit card has been charged. When will the popup nagging me to resubscribe every single time I come to the site stop????

Stoutfella,

First of all, thanks for subscribing. Second, I hear and understand you concern about the pop-up ad. This is something that comes up every now and then (no pun intended). The popup comes up for me, too. As a business, the website functions as both a repository for information and a marketing tool. The editorial staff has no control over the second function.

Cheers, Aaron
