Though I do not work for Kalmbach I have a backgound in network engineering, and am no stranger to building websites, I do all my coding by hand, however while I agree it is something Kalmbach should look into and address, I believe this shouldn't cause too much of a concern.
If you are signed in and selected for the website to remember your sign in, then it is recognizing that you are signed in by a cookie, which is how the site knows what user is logged in. Since your login information is associated with your Kalmbach account especially if you have ever had a subscription, it can easily pull your informatoin from the database and display it to you. Without the proper login credentials the Kalmbach web system would not be capable of displaying your information anywhere.
I'm a bit of a paranoid freak when it comes to information privacy as I'm a victim of identity theft and have been fighting the ongoing theft for well over 10 years, the fact it displays my information because I know how it's doing so doesn't really bother me. It does bother me because I have to get up and click on forums before it pops up or I ahve to wait for it to completely load then close it before I can get to the forums. I'd like to not have it in a popup style such as it is.
I hope from a fellow modeler who is also has such a background and being an impartial third party can help set your mind at ease a bit. Happy building.
