New month, new email notification problems
Posted by modelcrazy on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 9:25 PM

This just started today, I think this happens what, once a month?

I was getting my ususal number of notifications today the all of a sudden, scilence.

I looked on the site, and threads I'm subscribed to, which were posted to hours before, are not showing up again.

I'll click on the Receive Notifications button, but I don't think I will.

Same problem here. I was recieving notifications just fine until yesterday afternoon and then suddenly they stopped. Here's hoping the admins can get on top of this promptly. I certainly rely on them a good bit so I can keep up with GB's personal PM's.

Maybe you can ask the tech team why I can't login using my PC (Windows 10 with MS Edge), but I can login with my Mac Book??

Your comments and questions are always welcome.

Yes, thank you.

Now only if I can get my Android S6 to log on. I've tried clearing the cache, incogneto mode and everytime it telles me to contact customer service.

So Kalmbach is working on the log in issue some of you are experiencing. But are you all receiving email notifications again?

Absolutely! I'll let the right people know. Just FYI, Kalmbach will be closed tomorrow and possibly Thursday due to the -30 (and less!) temperatures that are headed our way. So I'll let the IT team know today but they may not get to it until we are back in the office.

Thanks for your patience.

I usually don't subscribe to threads, but, I did to several today, and I haven't recieved one notification. Although, many of the threads have had posts added to them.

Yesterday evening, I was hit with about 20 email notifications. So, as of now, looks like it working.

Thanks for the help!

If you guys have not seen the latest edition of the mag, the Editors Page is about the issues the site has ben having. In short, the issues seem to be down to the system being out of date. It is being looked into and will be sorted soon. They do ask for some patience. When you get your copy, you can check for yourself, hopefully it will make sense if your more tech savvy than i am (which is not hard).

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
