A quick update to the forum.

- Fixed dynamic resizing of images via javascript - Works similar
to the old forums, except I couldn't seem to make it draggable for
Firefox like it used to.
- Added option to disable signatures
- If you don't want to see signatures in the forum, you can turn them
off by updating your profile. Update Profile > Site Options.
- Added option to disable avatars
- If you don't want to see avatars in the forum, you can turn them off
by updating your profile. Update Profile > Site Options.
- Added width/height control to signatures - Signatures will now be
limited to 200px in height (ref:
Guidelines
for the use of image files in signature lines.).
- Miscellaneous
- Removed Online Status icon (the little globe) - too buggy.
Enabled the activity ranking (bubbles) - more a curiousity atm, it's not the same as the old ranking system.
A note about images in signatures. I decided against
dynamically resizing images in the signature. Since these images
are displayed anywhere, I would prefer to see those images resized
permanently to fit. Be courteous to those who don't have
broadband and save yourself (or your host) some bandwidth.
There are a couple of issues such as account merges, creating an active
topics page like we used to have (posts since last visit), font sizes,
and others that I'm still working on. We're already committed to
a couple of other big projects for Kalmbach, so I'm working on updates
when I can.
