Hi everyone!
Posted by Deepsky on Thursday, August 7, 2008 12:23 AM

Hello from Reno.

My name is Anthony and I like to build 1/48, 1/32 scale planes and 1/35 Armor dioramas (only made one so far). I have been modeling for about 25 years but always pretty much strait from the box with like new paint. I left the hobby when my son was born nine years ago but now I'm back. For my first attempt I am going to build a 1/32 Revell F4U-1D. I am going to detail as much as I can and then give it a war torn paint job of VF-17 #29 Ira Kepfords plane. I have never really detailed and have never weathered a plane before so it will be interesting.

Welcome back to the hobby, and Welcome to the forum!  Now you have a few things to do to start.  First will be to show us some of your work, second is to get your son started in the hobby immediatly.
