I've been putting this off...
Well after a few posts, I figure I should do the introduction!
I'm originally from SC, and have been building models in one form or another since I was 6 yrs old. I now live in Japan (USAF), and have recently gotten back into the hobby. I realise now why I quit several years ago...I get so caught up in the details that even simple kits take me *forever*. What prompted me to get back into it is the prevalence of hobby stores in Japan, which my wife describes as the world's largest toy store. I started with Gundams and have transitioned to Japanese castles at the moment, but I'm collecting a few kits of aircraft to save for rainy days. I don't have much work to show at present, since most of my projects are in progress. Now that I have a dedicated workspace, hopefully I'll have something to show in the near future. I recently retired the rattle cans for airbrushing, so the hobby is new to me again...expect some questions on that forum!
I've always enjoyed the magazine, and have been lurking on the forums for awhile. Great advice all around, and I look forward to getting to know all of you!
Happy building!
