Hello all, I am a 49 year old married father of two and an assistant district attorney, who is a life long model car builder. I've slowed a lot in recent years in my output as I kind of fell sick with superdetailitis. In that I've built just a few aircraft in my day I'd kind of like to take this up a bit more as a diversion and even picked up a Lindberg USS Manchester light cruiser kit and USS Gato sub as some asides. What I've seriously got going now in addition to the half dozen or so mostly finished 1/24 and 1/25 scale autos that always seem to populate my bench are a Lindberg F7U Cutlass which for some reason I'm enamored by and have questions posted up about it in the techniques section, a Lindberg F11F Tiger, the old testor's Hawk Travel Air Mystery ship and Laird Solution of the same brand. Any discussions or tips on any of those would be appreciated. Likewise, my auto modeling has given me a lot of spray paint, wiring, plumbing, scrathbuilding experience and my specialty is handpainted graphics on race cars so anything need there that could be of help, just let me know. I'd like to be here to help eventually and not just be helped.
Look forward to conversing.
