Figured after a couple of weeks of lurking I should introduce myself.  I am a 33-year old married lad living outside of Chicago.  I work as a help desk manager and am returning to modeling after 10 years.  Tried to start building living in a one-bedroom apartment with my new wife, got about halfway through a plane build (can't remember what it was, a 1/72 Phantom, I think), and then we moved.  Model got boxed up and has remained boxed up since than.  I think it's still in a box in the basement.

Finally have the space to have a little modeling nook in that same basement, got some proper tools, a good collection of paint, and a tidy stash of kits to keep me busy for a while, and have been cruising the aircraft and armor forums for a bit.  Even picked up my first airbrush a little bit ago.  (discovered I completely forgot to pick up things to clean it with, so haven't had a chance to use it yet).
