Hi

My name is Cem ( John ) and I have been modelling for 5 years or so.  I am 17 years old and I am always interseted in learning the history of war.  1/35 is my favorite scale and I would love to make some friends in this website.

cheers

Thanxx for the warm welcome!

Yes I do have a question :)

I'm build 1/72 and 1/48 aircrafts and need to know how to engrave the panel lines to make the aircraft look more realistic.  Any hints?

As for your question try the aircraft section or the techniques section.

Thanx for the warm welcome Boba!

I build armor, figures, and create dioramas in 1/35 scale.  It is easy to make friends here but I don't think that you can add one as a friend :( unlike facebook!

What do you build?

For engraving panel lines, I use a needle in a pin vise and a piece of Dymo tape as a guide, or a scribing tool I got from Squadron, or a serrated Xacto blade for short, straight cuts across say- fuselage halves or wing leading edges.

Welcome John, most people here are older, but few of us are in our 13,14 15 16 etc.  Can we see some pictures of your finished builds? Smile [:)]

Thanks,

Unfortuantly you will not see me posting any photos of my work because I joined to learn more about modeling instead of sharing Smile [:)]

But I would love to see some of your work.
