Hello, I am a 52 year old male. I've been married for 29 yrs. and have 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy. I have been modeling for 30 yrs. My main modeling interest are 1/72 & 1/48 military jet aircraft, although I have been modeling 1/35 armor this year. I am currently modeling all of the Blue Angels aircraft in 1/48 scale. Completed are the F18 Hornet, F4J Phantom, F6F-5 Hellcat & A-4 Skyhawk. The only model I do not have is the F11F-1 Tiger. If anyone knows where I can purchase one please let me know. I have received a few awards in model contest, particularly the Gatorcon Show & Contest in Lafayette, La. This contest is run by the IPMS Cajun Modelers Club, formally (IPMS Acadiana Plastic Modelers) of which I am a member. I have also built Formula 1 cars, WWI, WWII, Korean War, Dessert Storm and Cold War aircraft. Because I am a volunteer firefighter I also built a 1/24 scale Trumpeter College Park Pumper fire truck.
