Hi, my name is Steven from Melbourne, Australia and I'm new to the forums. I'm 26 and I've been modelling since 1992 starting with a Revell Bf 109. It was also the year I bought my first copy of FSM. I was introduced to the hobby my father who is a car modeller.
My main modelling interests is WW2. Right now I am researching a family member who served in the Royal Australian Navy during the war so interested in modelling "his" ship, the Shropshire .
I build armour, aircraft, ships and cars with the occasional figure. This is a great hobby but unfortunately I haven't been able to build for the last six months due to my living situation. My next project for my holiday (when I have building time!) is the Trumpeter 1/32 F6F-3 Hellcat.
Apart from modelling my interests include history, design, writing and collecting 1940's stuff. I'm looking forward to participating in the forums and exchanging ideas.
Steven
