The BoB is a very interesting subject, with a themed group build just winding down.  Looking forward to seeing you around the forums. Thumbs Up [tup]

Been around for a few weeks

I've been around for a few weeks now and put my foot in it at least once. So I thought I should start fresh.

Like most I have been in this hobby a few times during my time. The last time was when I had my first little girl. During this time I build about 20 1/72 models. That was back in the mid 80's.

Since then it was house building etc. I have had another hobby over the last 8 years building computer aircraft for flight sims. This is very similar in a lot of ways to this hobby without the paint and glue issues. However I have decided it would be good to have something I can have in my hand to enjoy.

My main interest is the Battle of Britain period. I have decided to go to 1/48 with it as the eyes aren't quite up to 1/72 any more. I have gone crazy and got most of the relevant aircraft over the last few weeks. I was very happy to find a Ju88 A1 addon kit yesterday so will be able to do a period Ju88 after all.

I have started by doing a Hs123 to help get my skills back before I hit my first Do17z. I'm really looking forward to next year doing this hobby.
