I appreciate the warm "welcome back" greetings.  I'm always amazed at the quality of work on display here and I can see now why I came back. I just hate that I have deprived myself for so long. Seeing all this awesome work makes me want to get back into military aircraft and armor modeling. I have a few automotive projects I'm trying to get finished up and then I can see myself digging into my aircraft and military stash in the near future.  I'm sure I'll have alot of questions, especially regarding armor because I was an Air Force guy back in the day...

Hiya Brian, and Sign - Welcome [#welcome]back to the Forums here!

I've got a similar situation to you, in that I don't have a paint booth. But for someone who has recently moved into a new apartment a few weeks ago, I've been using a cardboard box turned sideways! I do have issues like ventilation and such, but at least it's better than nothing! Something to think about.....

...I just would love to see the birds ya got come to life!Wink [;)]

Warmest regards,

Roger

Hello....Again....
Posted by PhantomPhreak on Saturday, December 13, 2008 11:51 AM

I was here as part of the old forums for quite some time.  For whatever reason I never joined the new forums until today.

I used to build alot of aircraft, mostly from the modern era.  I have also tried my hand at a few armor models over the years but my main emphasis seems to be automotive subjects. I do still have a few aircraft kits, mostly F-4 and F-14 kits with a few others smattered in. Eventually I would like to get back into aircraft modeling, but until I get a paint booth my days of building aircraft are on hold.  I simply can't make a brush job look good on aircraft.

Anyways, it's good to be back and I look forward to getting re-acquainted as well as making new friends here as well.
