Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forums, Byrne0ut!!! Hope to see you in the armor section. By the way, don't worry about having a creative license, we all have it or we wouldn't be building models in the first place.Smile [:)]

Howdy everybody,

Let me introduce you to myself...

I am 24 years old I was about 10 when I build my first model, it was  B-25 and it was gorgeous, actually looking back I did such a terrible job on it I should have put the brushes down and walked away from the hobby forever, but I was young and for some reason stuck with it and now I can't seem to stop.

Actually I did stop for a time so I have been back to active modeling for the last 2 years over that span I have build about 9 kits each one better than the next.  I have been attempting to master my weathering techniques and I am about to dive into the world of diorama building, (just bought my first pound of celluclay today Wink [;)])

One thing you master modelers may not like is that sometimes I like to take creative license with my models, I can only Paint the F4u Corsair the same color only so many times, so when I post pictures you will find p51 mustangs with corvette red highly polished finishes and what not, but hey its my hobby, back off. My favorite was when I was on another forum they were all bashing me for not being historically acurate with the cammo scheme of my Panther Tank, so i decided it would be best for me to strip the paint and repaint it in a ridiculous hot pink, it was awesome and is still one of my favorite models today.

The kit I am working on that I am planning on putting in my first diorama is the Early version of the German Panther ausf. A.  The kit is literally from 1969 and the quality is crap, talk about parts not fitting together. This is going to be a fun kit and hopefully the dio comes out as good as it looks in my mind.

I will be most active in the armor, painting and technique forums.  Look forward to chatting and learning from all of you.
