First, welcome.

Second...netiquette. Typing in all caps is considered shouting and rude.

Third, my suggestion re: the bridge. Rent the movie and see if you can get a screen shot of it on your computer. Or do a search for it on-line. There may be pictures of it posted somewhere.

FIrstly, Sign - Welcome [#welcome]!!!

About the bridge, I think that the only way is to scratch-build. Someone might have put out a kit, but I think it unlikely. All's that you would need to do is make the river and bank, then scale it (like N guage). Then using clips from the movie, assemble stryene tubing to looks like logs. PAint them to look like wood, and you are 9/10ths of the way there. Try posting in scratchbuilding.

Finally, yes, don't type in caps. it's also harder to read. Happy posting!

WELCOME!  Welcome to the forum!

I would definitely rent or even buy the movie, if you don't already have it, because, not only is it a great movie, with fine performances from William Holden, Sir Alec Guinness and Sessue Hayakawa, but there are enough great shots of the completed bridge, from various distances, to give you some good references for a scratchbuild.

Hope to see some progress pics when you get rolling!

Regards,

Brad
