Back in the hobby after a year long hiatus
Posted by usmarines84 on Friday, January 16, 2009 12:37 AM

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself or re introduce to those who already know me. my name is Anthony Manzoli, I am living in Nor Cal and I am currently getting myself re- established here.   I was one of the original members to this forum, but had to rejoin with my new email address and such.

I pretty much shut things down for the last year and a half and ended up moving from Australia back to the US after 10 years over seas.  I still have my web site, http://modelhangar.zoomshare.com and have recently purchased some modeling supplies and a few kits to get myself back in the saddle sort of speak.

I wanted to share my work with everyone so I posted some of my projects on the Aircraft forumn.  I will be adding more to the site aw well as soon as I start on my next project.

I mostly build WWII Luftwaffe but will stray and do some Allied stuff and would like to do some of the Japanese Aircraft as well.

For me I really enjoy painting the kits, and try to build kits that are hassle free, so that I can relax and get to the painting stage without too many hang ups. I know for some the challenge of building something and super detailing it, is where it's at, but for me I just like to keep it simple.

I really enjoy all the great discussions here, as well as the fine jobs everyone have been doing on their kits, it really helps me get back into the swing of things.

Cheers

[@welcome] back Anthony!  You have shown some stunning work over in Aircraft, and I look forward to picking your brain in the future.  I also enjoy the more hassle-free builds so I can concentrate on painting and finishing.  Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future! Thumbs Up [tup]
