Hi everyone!  I'm been a lurker on this forum for a while, but I finally decided to start posting because the camraderie is so great around here!

I've built models since I was a kid, but it was only about 2 years ago that I started seriously getting back into the hobby.  With a number of projects sitting in my workshop about 2/3 complete (I get bored very easily and want to move onto something else), one of my resolutions for '09 was to sit my butt down and finally FINISH some of them.

My interests run the entire range of genres, I'll build just about anything, from sci-fi to planes to cars to tanks to ships.  I just finished up a Gundam kit, and now I'm working on a P-38 Lightning.   I've also got a couple of car kits and a German StuG IV lined up waiting to be built.

Although I've been building kits for years, I don't consider myself to be very "advanced".  I've never touched any photoetch or an airbrush in my life.  The builds I've seen on this site, and the time you guys take to explain how you accomplish some of the amazing effects you achieve, has inspired me to really work on expanding my skillset.  Cheers!
