Sign - Welcome [#welcome] I don't built much aircraft anymore, my interest is in armor, tracked and wheeled vehicles. I'm sure you can have any questions answered that you may have by several folks on the forums. Enjoy and good luck with your builds.

(Ok, horrible subject, but who cares) Hi guys!

An introduction, well lesse.... 28.5 years old, hailing from Germany. Student of Computer Science and an avid scale model builder since birth, I guess. ;-)

For the longest time (read: childhood), building a model meant throwing together a kit and then having to explain to my mother why she needed to buy new pants for me, while cleaning my fingers with nailpolish-remover. :P
That was followed by nearly ten years without kits, until I bought a nice 1:48 Me 262 by Tamiya, some 5 years ago. That one was built with my first airbrush and came out rather nice, especially taking into consideration that I had no experience with any of the tools I used and with my earlier "kit results" in memory.

Anyways, I threw that one away quite recently, the flimsy gear had broken off several times while dusting and I really wanted to do some nice kits. So here I am again, putting together new equipment, with a plan to build a few combat aircraft from the Vietnam war, in mostly larger scales, using reference book and aftermarket details. I hope to get a bunch of starter information here and maybe I can even help out with something. German translations, obscure stuff for WWII builders, whatever. :)

See ya!
