Welcome to the Forums Sign - Welcome [#welcome].  I agree with Frank, the Tamiya family of 1/48 P-47 kits are the best by far.  A good second choice would be the Hasegawa Jugs.

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forums!

Glad you found us over here.  As far as the best P-47 in 1/48, I would say the Tamiya family of Thunderbolts is at the top of the list.  They really do not need any aftermarket additions, except possibly some seatbelts and decals to build something different than what is on the box.

HTH! Thumbs Up [tup]

hey there,

new here,so just dropping in to say hi Wink [;)]

i used to paint models when i was a wee lad(many moons ago) recently saw a copy of fsm at a newsagent...bought the copy, read it cover to cover ...so now it looks like the bug is back and im getting back into scale models!

i see there are lots of forums that can help here so im glad i came,i hope to learn some new skills and to look at some great inspirational models in the galleries.

P.s can anyone give me advice on who makes the best 1/48 scale P-47 thunderbolt and what aftermarket extra's should i get for it...

cheers M
