Hello everyone!

Though I'm new to the forums, I'm not new to FSM. I've been subscribing for several years now. The time between issues sometimes drives me crazy so I thought it would be a good idea to join the forums so I can fill the void with good conversation! Plus, I know personally only one other modeler besides myself, so its good to talk to others who share in my interests.

I've been on the modeling scene since I was in grade school, when I used to 'supervise' my father's builds and they fly them, carefully mind you, around the living room. I started off building airplanes but now I'll model just about anything I have the time for.  Just to give you an example, on my desk at work I have a completed 1/48 scale F4U-4 Corsair and a 1/35 scale hockey player which I stratch built from a Dragon kit modern U.S. Infantry man. I recently finished Italeri's 1/35 RSO S.P. Pak 40, and I have Italeri's 1/72 C-47 waiting to be opened. So, basically, if it needs glue and paint, I'll put it together.

Lastly, I must say I'm very impressed with the works I've seen posted on these forums. Many of you produce some high quality models! Furthermore, I'm impressed by the knowledgeable and helpful advice many of you provide. I am greatly looking forward to many a good chat here! And maybe, if I'm daring enough, I'll share a pic or two!

Talk to you soon!

Jon
